Senior Managing Director of US-based private equity firm TTGA Global, Dr. Tohme has served as an advisor to some of the most influential firms and individuals in the world. A former consultant to real estate private equity firm Colony Capital and a former Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Senegal, Dr. Tohme has facilitated transactions in fields that include international real estate, oil and natural gas, and entertainment.
Dr. Tohme served as Michael Jackson's manager during the pop superstar's final years, overseeing his financial and career comeback in 2008 and 2009. Tohme was instrumental in rescuing Jackson's Neverland Ranch from foreclosure in May 2008 and freeing Michael from legal problems which ultimately enabled his return to the spotlight. As Jackson's manager, Dr. Tohme's efforts culminated in the signing of Michael's historic touring and film production deals with entertainment giant AEG Live, which included plans for his London-based tour, "This Is It."
While Michael's untimely and tragic passing prevented the London shows from ever coming to fruition, Tohme's guidance and groundwork with the AEG deal ultimately led to the generation of hundreds of millions of dollars for Michael's estate.
